This slide shows a monocyte.   This largest WBC is approximately twice the size of the surrounding erythrocytes.  Note the large, kidney bean-shaped nucleus with a faint, lightly blue-staining (agranular) cytoplasm.   Monocytes are typically found in a frequency of 4-8%.
